Weather

As a hiker, you will be very concerned about the weather in the area where you are hiking.  After all, the weather forecast determines what clothes you will wear, how much water to pack, and even if it is safe to venture into this area.

You will definitely want the latest information and maybe even some tools so you can keep up with changing conditions.

I have taken the guesswork out of weather predictions for you.  On each hike review, you will find a widget that gives you Current Conditions in the area that your hike takes place.  Since I realize that you may not want to hike this trail on the day you’re researching it, I also provide a link to the National Weather Service so you can project what the weather conditions will be like on your chosen day. 

You can also install a widget on your computer (MAC or PC) that will tell you the weather forecast so that you can keep up with changing conditions right from your desktop!
